You need to check out the latest mythtv-vid branch for the latest
opengl renderer. The opengl video output is built by default.

Once installed, under settings->tv->playback you should find some
options to specifify which decoder/renderer/osd/deinterlacer
combination to use for a given resolution.

My current 'preferred' deinterlacer is opengl 2x LinearBlend which is
giving me very good results.

Whether or not your card will cope is another question. There are so
many variables involved that I've stopped giving any indication - bus
type/speed, card type, source resolution/frame rate, output
resolution, driver version etc etc all have an impact.
