[mythtv-users] OT: Free backup solution for my linux boxes?

I use rsync to backup everything I want to another harddisk in a
removable drawer which I can remove and place on a shelf until I need to
backup again or restore.
The best long term backup system is by using a spare harddisk which can
stay many years on the shelf without loosing the data.
