Oh yeah...and what about CSS or newer structural copy protection? Again, I
read the k9copy can do it but mythdvd can't ?!

Actually, the ISO option will copy as ISO. Perfect will just copy a
single VOB file, the other options will transcode the video down so
there's not much need to use anything else unless you have a DVD that
is slightly damaged and fails to import.

On that note, I mainly use ISO just because it's setup, working, and easy
for the wifey. :) How can I setup "Perfect" or another format to take the
VOBs and make them compressed MPGs, or DIVX?

"Excellent", "Good" and "Medium" will compress VOB files. They're already
set up. Just choose one from the Rip/Transcode screen. It amazes me that
people would install other software and issue commands via the cli, set up
menus to launch external applications, etc. and not read the wiki to find
all the wonderful things already built into the software to handle the job.

Right there with you homey! That's why I don't use anything external. :)

However, on mine, Excellent seems to just copy the VOB file, and I though
Good produced an .AVI. I'll have to try one out at each setting to get the
results.
