Probably a broken seektable.  Perhaps caused by a corrupted DB.  Try
running optimize_mythdb.pl, and then run mythcommflag --rebuild on any
affected recordings.  (You may have to run mythtranscode --buildindex,
though, on some types of recordings, such as those from ATSC/DVB
cards.)  Search the list for some magical command lines to use.

I don't think you're to blame.  :)  BTW, the playback of audio in this
case is a known bug that's being worked on (or was recently fixed--I
don't remember for sure).
