How about dumping the mythconverg database when you have
satisfactorily configured mythtv-setup (maybe even capture
cards/channels but these could change over time) and then importing
this afresh whenever you update?
Scripting individual MythTV setup options will be time-consuming and
prone to requiring updates whenever the DB schema changes. If you
merely drop in a pre-configured database, any newer version of MythTV
will update it appropriately.
