"Excellent", "Good" and "Medium" will compress VOB files. They're  
already set up. Just choose one from the Rip/Transcode screen. It  
amazes me that people would install other software and issue commands  
via the cli, set up menus to launch external applications, etc. and  
not read the wiki to find all the wonderful things already built into  
the software to handle the job. :)
