[mythtv-users] Fastforward/Rewind Not working

Table recordedseek is used during fast forward/rewind during playback of
recorded programs. Apparently (I'm speculating on the details, here),
Myth records "marks" in the recordseek table to guide it through the
recording during non-standard playback. Here's a sample of the
recordseek table:
+--------+---------------------+------+------------+------+
| chanid | starttime | mark | offset | type |
+--------+---------------------+------+------------+------+
| 1009 | 2007-07-10 20:00:00 | 2447 | 1273985024 | 6 |
| 1009 | 2007-07-10 20:00:00 | 2448 | 1274517504 | 6 |
+--------+---------------------+------+------------+------+
I'm assuming the offset is frames. Any way, I copied my recorded table
to a new system (along with the recordings directory) and all worked
except fast forward/rewind. It all started working when I included the
recordseek table. You may have a corrupted recordseek table.
