Well, there is a lot that changed during that upgrade.  Start with
checking the network drivers and the mysql database.  I had similar
issues recently that was due to a corrupted table in mysql.  And the
HDHomerun is network intensive.  Make sure that your network cards are
the right speed an duplex for your environment.   Use " ethtool eth0"
to see its status.
