I use the RT data for most television channels and the transmitted EIT
data to fill in the radio stations and television channels that aren't
on the RT website.

I don't know what the "approved" way to do this is, but I found that
configuring a dvb-t card to do the EIT scan in mythtv-setup and running
mythfilldatabase, then editing the channel table in the database to set
"useonairguide" to 0 for those channels I want to use RT data and 1 for
those I need to take EIT data seems to work for me.  If there's a way
to disable EIT data for some channels in the GUI somewhere, I've missed
it.
