Michael explained about this pretty good.  I considered trying to
replicate the nfslock.lock file functionality with Storage Groups,
but since we allow multiple directories to be used on the same
filesystem and these directories may be used by one or more backends,
then there had to be another way to determine if the directories
were on a shared filesystem.  I thought that this 5-minute rate
was good enough, but maybe that needs tob e tightened down even more.

Is it possible that you had a file being deleted during the time when
you viewed the disk space status via Myth?  Are you using slow deletes
or do you have recordings that around 1GB?
