If I *was* to fix this problem, I'd probably re-wire the house for cable
and have the RCN cable-in come directly to 1 n-way splitter and have it
split but once. I think I have a total of 4 TVs & 1 cable modem plus my
video capture card using the cable right now, and the cable splits seem
to be done serially instead of 1 parallel split. But I'd add at least 1
more TV if I re-cabled the house. B^) Sounds like 1 good 8-way splitter.

Yes, the antenna is probably pointed in a SE or SE by E direction. It
also gets draped in maple leaves during the summer. B^) Hard to
believe the multipath stuff since I live in a residential neighborhood
and my antenna is above other houses, unless the gently rolling hills
are affecting my reception. B^)

So, a new video card goes on the shopping list.

Still, why can't myth find what mplayer is finding?
