[mythtv-users] Slighty OT: LIRC/I2C and replacing the grey haauppage remote

Hi all,

During a recent move, I've lost my grey hauppage remote. I realize i can 
order a new one from happauge, but I'm wondering if can use one of my 
universal remotes lying around here.. I was googling it, and i think i'm 
best to try to set one of the universal remotes to a magnavox code, and 
try from there.. Am i barking up the wrong tree? What have other people 
done when they've lost there remote? I noticed that miro, (democracy 
player) now has lirc support, so I love my mythbox just a little more!
