The amount of MythTV developers/users with a Sky abo seems to be 
limited.

Writing USB-Kernel drivers is not that complicated but depending on the 
hardware capabilities a libusb based userspace driver might be simpler 
(no need to design a kernel - userspace interface).
Due to my location my interrest in this capture device is limited but 
I'll be available for advise.
