Yes thats what I am using now but want to try to use fixes that are
only available in Mythbuntu to see if they solve a major problem I am
having.

Yes Firefox is working fine I can view Mythbuntu web site fine. I
started with an Advanced install and then tried a Standard install but
still auto detected video drivers perhaps that is why it still needed
to access the Internet for more packages. I will try again.

Thanks but Knoppmyth has never detected my tuners
