EULA issues aside, the general rule for manually importing listings data (If the listings data is in proper xmltv format) is to run mythfilldatabase from the command line with the --file parameter. That parameter has 3 arguments: the first represents the sourceid that the listings should map to (if you have more than one defined in your setup), the second represents the number of days the listings represents as an offset from the current day, and the third is the name of the file. It would generally be run as a cron job, and youŽd have to make sure to turn of the setting that automatically runs mythfilldatabase directly from mythTV.

See http://www.mythtv.org/wiki/index.php/Mythfilldatabase for more info.

Fine... let me re-phrase my question... assuming that I have an XMLTV
formated ( http://xmltv.org/wiki/xmltvfileformat.html ) file of show
data... how do I get it into my
mythtv box?

As for EULAs in generall... I violate lots of those on a daily
basis... I still pay my $$$
and no one seems to care..... Tivo ( for instance ) knows that I
replaced my drives
with 250Gig drives... knows that my tivos are networked, probably
knows that I have
HMO enabled on my DirectTV Tivos.. and I still get service.... I
really don't see this
being an issue as long as I don't go out and sell the information that
I get from
my tivo.
