I'll bet it can't really be as hard as this every time - who'd want  
to go through at that rigmarole?

Isn't is possible to get an image of a hard-drive on which Xbox-Linux  
has already been installed and `dd` it on to any old Seagate?
Or does firmware need to be flashed first?
I guess if you absolutely DO need to find a specific version of a  
game for a one-off process then maybe there's someone in your area  
who could loan it to you? Don't they rent games at Blockbuster these  
days?

The best place to ask about this might well be forums dedicated to  
Xbox-Linux - I'll bet there are some active IRC channels for that.
