[mythtv-users] disable live-tv and audo problems

Hello,

I've setup MythTV on Ubuntu 6.10 (Edgy), with an Asus 7133 TV-FM card.  
(Sempron 2200+, 1 GB memory, Geforce 440 MX).  I'm having a number of 
problems which I haven't been able to find answers for:

1.  How do I disable live TV?I don't need these functions.  I'd still like 
to be able to schedule recordings, but I don't need to pause/fast 
forward/rewind live tv, and I don't want my hard drives to fill up with 
recordings.  (I do know about the option to leave X gigs free, but I'd 
rather disable it.)  I'm having problems with audio/video becoming 
desynchronized now, and I think it may be partly due to this.

2.  After I quit watching TV, the sound from the last channel I had tuned 
continues...  How can I stop this?
