[mythtv-users] Slight Distortion on Video

Hi,

Thanks for the comments. I did manage to get all this working. What I
had to do was the following:

- go back to newest ATI drivers
- set "texturevideo" to on
- set the H size to 600
- set the V size to 800
- set overscan to 1
- turn off opengl overlay
- turn on xvid overlay

- compile mythtv from source, using the ATI_HACK (now I420 hack)

Then, once overscan was enabled, and texturevideo, I got perfect
video, though it was too large. After about an hour of messing around
with GUIX and GUIY and GUIOFFSETX and GUIOFFSETY i managed to get it
working perfectly :)

However, now mplayer is playing everything at 4:3 instead of 16:9 when
required, I'm sure this is something to do with mplayer using -vo xv
instead of -vo somethingelse, but I haven't had time to look into it
yet.

Thanks
MG
