[mythtv-users] Recording TV Show Marathons

I recently recorded a Spongebob Squarepants Marathon which lasted 28 
hours straight.
I noticed that myth broke the marathon into i think 1/2 hour or 1 hour 
segments, but the
episodes of course did not start and stop at the 1/2 hour or 1 hour 
increments. Has anyone
found something or configured something to allow for a recording of a 
marathon so it will
be saved in one big file that way i can break the video apart like I want?

Im running mythtv-0.20 and fedora 5 with ivtv-8.0
