Hi. I had been running myth on kubuntu edgy since september with NO
problems, besides the occassional reboot. A few days ago, it starting
acting up. Mythbackend will not make it past the third initial
database connection:

2007-02-27 17:42:49.730 EITHelper: localtime offset -5:00:00
2007-02-27 17:42:49.737 New DB connection, total: 3
2007-02-27 17:42:49.758 Connected to database 'mythconverg' at host:
192.168.0.107
2007-02-27 17:42:49.771 EITHelper: localtime offset -5:00:00

This is where it stops. So I decided hey, lets try a fresh install.
Did a fresh install. Got myth up and running and was just about to
start tweaking everything to put it into production and it started
doing the same thing. It throws no errors and just sits there at
EIThelper.

Is there an option to have mythbackend show more errors? Any ideas?

I'm running it on AMD 2500, 1gb ram, PVR-150 and wintTV 34xx

Like I said. Was working 100%, locked up. I rebooted, started doing
this. I reinstalled, worked for a few then started up again. Due to
the fresh software install, it is making me feel like it is a HW
issue, but I'd like to see mythbackend give me some actual errors.
