Well, if you can't find anything that works by Googling, and there is
nothing posted on the Wiki (http://www.mythtv.org/wiki/index.php/LIRC)
then it sounds like you should do one of 2 things (or both). You should
get on the lirc-list
(https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/lirc-list) and ask around
and/or you should just program the remote yourself. You may or may not
be using Gentoo, but lirc is going to be the same on most any distro:

That page also has links to using irrecord which is what you may need to
do or you may find a working config and simply tell the keys to do what
you want them to do... To get my remote working, I had to generate my
own set of files and then marry the one I created with the one from
Jarods How-To and I've been working great for over a year now... there
are a couple of buttons that I have been meaning to go in and tweak but
haven't gotten around to it yet.
