I rarely have had this happen as well, and I believe that for me, it's
related to times when I'm listening to streaming audio via mythstream
when a recording starts. Somehow, I suspect that my system and how the
audio is configured (alsa via oss and sound being fed through the
internal sound card?) is allowing mythstream to grab exclusive use of
the audio card and getting in the way of sound being recorded.
It rarely happens, so I'm not too worried or interested in debugging
it. Hope my datapoint helps.
