If you only want certain channels on a certain input type
(antenna/composite/DVB etc) you need to ensure that the video source
only has those channels you want available on the video source.
Channels you do not want on a video source can be removed using the
channel editor in mythtv-setup.

If you want to use all channels available on all of your video sources
you can force the scheduler to give higher priority to channels on a
certain video source by increasing the priority of the channels (and
video source if you want all channels on a particular video source to
be higher priority than other channels). This method retains the
ability to record from a lower priority channel on another source if a
scheduling conflict arises when a higher priority recording is
scheduled on your preferred channel.
