W toogles aspect ratio modes.
It seems like your hardware is more than enough, what deinterlacin algorithm
do you use, kerneldeint is best in my opinion.
Use standard decoder ffmpeg, this and deinterlacing is under settings, tv,
playback or similar.

If you playback your videofiles with mplayer or vlc do they also have
problem ?
