As a current maintainer of the uk_rt channel_ids file for the XMLTV
project, please check the current state of the grabber before making
such statements. The 'config stuff' is updated frequently - it is up
to distros however how often these updates are made available to users
to do not use CVS. The channel icon information it contains has also
been made available to MythTV directly (thanks to Justin for the
update scripts).

My weekly check shows 5 new channels to be added to the XMLTV config -
these are UKTV Drama +1, ESPN Classic, Movies 24, Paramount Comedy +1
and TCM2. These will be added to XMLTV CVS this week.

The uk_rt feed has never carried radio listings data in its current
form (it's only weakness IMO) so using the EIT data from your DVB card
is the only realistic option. Note that this data can be applied to
other video sources you have defined in MythTV (perhaps ntl or Sky) to
allow scheduling of radio channels to work across all sources carrying
radio channels available through DVB.
