I had the same problem. Google did not help a lot. After a few days it dawned 
on me. I compiled the go7007 driver against my current kernel source tree, 
but I had installed the modules from v4l-dvb-kernel over the original ones.

I re-installed the kernel (to bring it into sync with the kernel sources) and 
voila!  Luckily I don't really need the additional/updated drivers from 
v4l-dvb-kernel.
