That's a pretty general statement.  I've been running XFS for my myth
storage for 3 and a half years.  Not a single problem.  So that means
that there's something particular about *that* XFS setup that was
causing a problem.  Maybe it needed defragging (as XFS filesystems do
after they've spent quite a bit of time being full.)  Maybe it needed to
have fsck run.  At this point, we'll never know.

Point is that many people are using XFS quite happily...
