[mythtv-users] My First MythTV Box

Hey guys,

I've finally decided to take the plunge and build my first MythTV box. I
live in Spain and have a fully paid up subscription to Digital+, and
it's mainly this that I'll want the MythTV box to manage - recording,
pausing, etc. I've been looking at hardware configurations and hoped you 
guys could cast an expert eye over my selections to see if any issues I 
may have missed leap out.

Having read the wiki, I get the impression that DVB-S, particularly 
encrypted broadcasts, are quite tough to get working. I'm planning to 
use MythBuntu - is there anything anyone can think of that I should be 
aware of while trying to sort all this out?
