[mythtv-users] PVR-500 issue

Since I have switched to DirecTV, I have been having problems with the 
backend.  Whenever the backend tries to record two shows at once, one of 
the inputs dies.

dmesg says (over and over and over):
ivtv0: DMA TIMEOUT 00000001 0

my backend log says:
select timeout - ivtv driver has stopped responding

I'm using the latest FC 6 kernel (2.6.22.14-72.fc6).  Dmesg marks ivtv 
as "ivtv:  version 1.0.0 (2.6.22.14-72.fc6 SMP mod_unload 686 4KSTACKS 
)" although the version I downloaded and thought I installed should be 
1.0.3.

I've searched through archives and tried just about everything that I 
could find except for moving the card to a different PCI slot.

Does anyone have any ideas on what might be causing this?
