[mythtv-users] KnoppMyth R5F27 need ivtv config for PVR-350+PVR-150

Hi everyone,

I recently reinstalled my FC6 system to use KnoppMyth. Everything is
working fine, except recording on my PVR-150 (detected by IVTV as card
#1). I have a PVR-350 detected as card #0. When my PVR-150 records, I
see scrambled images/jitter on playback, usually if there is text on
the screen. I have been looking at old postings on the KnoppMyth wiki,
trying different things, but to no effect. I am back to the default
KnoppMyth settings in /etc/mythtv/modules/ivtv, as follows:

alias char-major-81 videodev
alias char-major-61 lirc_i2c
#options ivtv debug=1
#options tuner type=2
options msp3400 once=1
install ivtv /sbin/modprobe tuner; /sbin/modprobe msp3400;
/sbin/modprobe saa7115;  /sbin/modprobe --ignore-install ivtv;
/sbin/modprobe ivtvfb; /sbin/modprobe lirc_i2c
remove ivtv /sbin/modprobe -r --ignore-remove ivtv && /sbin/modprobe
-r saa7115 && /sbin/modprobe -r msp3400 && /sbin/modprobe -r tuner &&
/sbin/modprobe -r ivtvfb && /sbin/modprobe -r lirc_i2c

Does anyone have any suggestions for correcting the jitter problem?

Side issue: My mythfrontend stops responding to the remote after a
while. I checked that lircd is still running, and the syslog contains
messages like:

Dec 21 06:36:08 firemyth kernel: i2c IR (Hauppauge): unknown key:
key=0x17 raw=0x1f97 down=1
Dec 21 06:36:08 firemyth kernel: i2c IR (Hauppauge): unknown key:
key=0x17 raw=0x1f97 down=0

I can sometimes fix the problem by restarting mythfrontend. Sometimes
I just reboot. WAF is suffering from this problem. ;-) Yes, I have
been researching this one too, but the posts seem a bit dated (2005?)
so I was hoping for an update.

Thanks for your help!

Fred
