[mythtv-users] Any success stories: Mythfrontend on Compaq 1505US Presario with ATI Mobility Radeon 7500 laptop?

Hi all,

I have Compaq 1505US (P4 1.6GHz) laptop with ATI Mobility Radeon 7500:

AFAIK ATI proprietary drivers are not supported by it.

And X11 crashes with ATI open source drivers when I try to watch
recordings from backend.

I have have tried Ubuntu 7.10 and FC6 with icewm, xfce4, kde and gnome
windowmanagers.

anobdy care to share success stories with this ATI Radeon 7500 card?

What ATI drivers did you use and also can I get your xorg.conf file?
