[mythtv-users] screensaver issues

I am running mythtv on fc6 (kde) and displaying it on a plasma TV.  I
really need to run a screen saver to prevent burn in.  When I use the
screensaver through the control panel it behaves properly and only kicks
in when the screen is idle on a menu or something.  The problem is that
I can't deactivate it with the remote and I have to get up and go to the
keyboard.  Is there a way to deactivate the screensaver through lirc?  I
have seen other postings on this problem and the answer seems to be to
disable the screensaver.  I can't see doing that.  I also tried
xscreensaver, but it will kick in while watching TV so that definitely
won't work.  Any help is appreciated.
