[mythtv-users] Installed XMLTV, broke Schedules Direct

Hello,

While setting up a new backend (Ubuntu 7.04), I (unwisely) decided to
install XMLTV to pull down pretty channel icons. Since doing that, I
don't have Schedules Direct in the mythtv-setup options any more, and
can't use mythfilldatabase to update my listings.

I can use the XMLTV grab scripts to save xml files, then run
mythfilldatabase on those files by hand, but that isn't a very
convenient solution (and doesn't seem to get correct episode
descriptions, which is a deal-breaker).

I've been racking my brains for solutions, including uninstalling
XMLTV, reinstalling Myth, deleting and recreating mythtv-setup
sources, and beating my head against the keyboard. As yet, I have not
had any success.

When I run mythfilldatabase, it completes without error but does not
import any data, and throws messages like "Grabbing XMLTV data using
schedulesdirect1 is not verified as working."

What else can I do to gently remind mythtv-setup about the existence
of schedulesdirect? At this stage, it seems like the problem must be
lurking in mythconverg somewhere, and I *really* don't want to have to
start over from scratch.

TIA,

Mike.
