[mythtv-users] IR Blaster Codes for Motorola RG2200C

Greetings,

I live in the Phoenix area, and we can get VDSL Internet/IPTV service from Qwest here.  I've had the Internet part for several years, but finally got fed up with poor OTA reception and signed up for the cable TV portion.

Qwest brought out a Motorola RG2200C decoder box.  These devices used to be manufactured by Next Level Communications, which was bought out by Motorola.  A basic data sheet is here:

My problem is that I'm having trouble finding IR Blaster codes for this device.  Qwest has a document at

that says to use code "10005 Fast" on a Tivo, or code "0764" with ReplayTV to control the RG2200C.  I'm not finding anything in the Lirc remotes library that seems to match this.  Unfortunately the remote that Qwest brought is RF, not IR.  Does anyone have any suggestions before I go out and buy a universal remote and try to reverse engineer the codes?

Also, if anyone here has access to more detailed documentation on this device, the datasheet seems to indicate that I could use up to 3 IR remotes with it, implying that I could use my MythTV to record from all three of the separate video streams.  I know how to make the RF remote control the second and third streams, but have no idea what the codes would be for the IR version.

Any help appreciated.  I will document this when I figure it all out.
