The one that really ticks me off is 'Ironic.' Nothing in that song
is actually ironic.

Sort of like "incredible," which used to be a pejorative term. It
meant, literally, "not credible." The modern usage is, I suppose,
"wrong" from a historical perspective -- but language evolves.
