IIRC, that port is intended for a USB keyboard, and you can plug one in
and type in numbers to change channels (at least I can with my SA3100).
But unless you have some hardware solution to act as a USB device
between the two USB hosts (your computer and the SA box) AND the
software to make it work, it's a dead end. At least, that's what I've
read. I've found that the serial IR blaster method works really well
with these boxes, though. If you'd like info on my setup, I'll gladly
provide.
