  ...it is once the data is dumped.

  It's kind of like saying mp3 players aren't convenient because
you have to take that extra step to rip the albums.

  Given the BS associated with regular DVDs, and the extra crap
above and beyond that that HD-DVD entails... the requirement to
rip an HD-DVD before use isn't so bad really.

  Ripping Disney DVDs does wonders for their usability...
