[mythtv-users] trouble installing SVN on Feisty

Hi All,

Trying to install from SVN for the first time on Ubuntu Feisty.  Got as far
as this:

Copying files to the temporary directory... FAILED!
Striping ELF binaries and libraries...OK
Compressing man pages...OK
Building file list...OK
Building Debian package...OK
Installing Debian package... FAILED!
*** Failed to install the package

The install log states:
Unpacking mythtv (from .../mythtv_0.20.02svn20070828.ubuntu6-1_i386.deb) ...

dpkg: error processing
/var/myth_src/mythtv/mythtv_0.20.02svn20070828.ubuntu6-1_
i386.deb (--install):
 trying to overwrite `/usr/bin/ld', which is also in package binutils
dpkg-deb: subprocess paste killed by signal (Broken pipe)
Errors were encountered while processing:
 /var/myth_src/mythtv/mythtv_0.20.02svn20070828.ubuntu6-1_i386.deb

I don't think I want to uninstall binutils, and I tried temporarily renaming
the /usr/bin/ld file, but apparently it's required for the compile.

I'm sure it's something obvious - help!  :-)
