[mythtv-users] HDHR recording with too low volume playback

Hi,

I'm noticing the shows recorded with my hdhr have very low volumes.  I
don't recall this being noticable with the 20-fixes branch, but I am
noticing it now with SVN trunk.  This could just be a coincidence.  I am
using ALSA.

I've tried a bunch of adjustments from within myth as well as upping the
mixer settings on everything I can get my hands on.  Unfortunately, no
real improvement.  My mythbox is using the onboard soundcard connected
via RCA jacks to my tv.

For fun, I turned on the AAC3 (or whatever) to SPDIF passthrough but I
just get clicks and noises.  I'm not really sure what it's supposed to
do so I unchecked it.  Anyway, does anyone have any suggestions?

I'm including some output which will hopefully be helpful (from a
soundcard level).

Myth output device: /dev/dsp
All passthroughs turned off.
Myth controling mixer doesn't do anything useful with this problem.
