[mythtv-users] PVR-350 Almost Working?

I am using a PVR-350 on Mandriva 2007 with kernel 2.6.17-14.  Note that this 
is a 64 bit box as well.  After many attempts and low success, I appear to 
have finally got ivtv installed and working as I am able to capture snow and 
play it back using mplayer.  Historically on previous Myth installs on other 
boxes this was a good sign.  I am able to run mythtv-setup and configure the 
card and everything works properly as it would seem.  The channel search 
picks up my channels okay.  I am able to watch myth recordings imported from 
another box on my monitor with no problem.  Take note that I am not trying to 
output to a TV.  I only want to be able to record and edit on this PC with no 
TV output.  How do I overcome the black screen when I attempt to view live 
TV.
