[mythtv-users] Sound not synched on pcHDTV HD-5500 card

Andrew,

Alsamixer didn't show me much but i did stumbled on the answer. In kmix
there is a tab called "switches". There is a switch called "IEC598". If
that is selected mythtv gets no sound. If you un-select that switch it all
works properly.

I assume that switch changes the sound card between digital and analog
capture. This is an nvida on-board sound card CK804.

When i get home, i'll figure out how to unselect that via alsamix script.
