My MythTV network used to be Fedora 4 then 5 based.  I had repeated problems
whenever I tried to update/upgrade.

I switched all four of my systems to Ubuntu 7.04 over one weekend, and never
have looked back.

The guides are excellent and there are lots of people who will give you
support.
