This gets mentioned on occasion, but thus far no solution. Might be
that the devs are waiting for useful stack traces during such hangs? I
don't see it very often because I like to organize my stuff in a big
heap :)  (everything in one group)

But, I think this hang happened to me on the weekend, when I emptied
out my LiveTV group. But I wandered away from the TV for a few minutes
and when I came back it was unhung.

(Yes, I know emptying the LiveTV group is not necessary, but I was bored ;-)  )
