[mythtv-users] software raid 5 xfs

I'm using 4x 250GB PATA-100 Hard Drives ... two on the on-board nForce
chipset... two on a Promise PDC20248. I'm using software RAID-5 across all
4 disks... I have 2x PVR-350's and 1x PVR-500 and have at times been
recording 4 streams at once, while watching another. This is all on the
same box, combined backend and frontend.

I originally had a problem with using XFS for my video storage, but someone
clued me into the 4k vs 8k stacks problem... but once that was solved, this
thing runs solid.

I hope that helps.

Andy
