[mythtv-users] Recording via FireWire - TimeWarner Cable, Los Angeles

I haven't been able to record or tune any channels at all via Firewire
here for a couple of months.  I use FireWire to change channels on the
STB, but it's otherwise useless.  I tried adding it as a tuner again last
night just to see if anything's changed, but no such luck.  I'm wondering
if everyone else out here is having a similar issue.

What's interesting is that they've started sending a lot of the "basic
cable" channels in the clear over QAM (unfortunately, not SciFi yet, or
Universal HD, or MTV HD).  But they've totally shut off the firewire
output on the STB.  I wonder why....?
