Sounds as though the version you are booting is not the same as the
sources you have loaded. I don't know enough about RPM based systems these
days (not used them for a number of years) to know what to suggest to fix
it - I guess you start in /usr/src and find out what the linux directory
is symbolic(ly) linked to - ideally it should be the same version as you
are running. The building of the ivtv sources starts off by looking in
/usr/src/linux to see what the version number is (it doesn't look at what
is actually running)!!
I reckon its over to someone else now...
