AFAIK there is not a way to password protect a frontend however if you
were to shutdown the frontend when not watching tv you can use a
password protected screensaver as sort of a protection. (Easily defeated
by a reboot.) Another option would be to use the rating limit system to
make all channels "adult" and password protect based on rating. Thats
not going to protect music or videos or dvds. Myth is really not
designed to be secure, its a family entertainment center. My neighbor
used to try to lock his satellite tv system with the default 4 digit
password only to discover that his kid would simply try each password
from 0000 to 9999. Took less than a half hour to break the password.

What about a key lock on the power switch for the frontend? Turn off and
lock the frontend when you are not home.
