This is what I use:

Section "Device"
    Identifier  "NVidia FX5200"
    Driver      "nvidia"
    Option      "TVStandard" "NTSC-M"
    Option      "TVOutFormat" "SVIDEO"
    Option      "ConnectedMonitors" "TV"
EndSection

If you also have a CRT monitor attached, you'll have to use a TwinView
configuration.  The "Device" section in the thread you linked to is suitable
for that.
