I would guess bad media.  That is a growisofs problem - not a MythArchive
problem.  You should be able to look at the log file and find the growisofs
command that was executed and try burning to another media using that
command, as all the source files should still be there.  You might want to
try using a DVD+RW to avoid burning coasters.
