Hi,

I have my television connected to my PC via a vga-to-scart cable.

Under X I can produce PAL output by added the following to xorg.conf:
       Modeline "720x576" 15.125 720 778 834 968 576 579 607 625
composite interlace +hsync +vsync
This works perfectly under X.

But the problem is that I don't see anything while the system is
booting because the vga card doesn't output a PAL signal. I only get
an image when X is started. Is there any way how I can tell the kernel
to output a PAL signal when it's booting?

I'm running a debian system on a x86_64 with an AIT X300.

Thanks in advance,

Wouter

PS: I don't mind patching and building my own kernel.
